The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed in regards to the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to sassa status check service the area every day. The services level developed for intervention experiences a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to allow the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
